A flamethrower is a stationary or portable device emitting different kinds of burning fuel towards a given target.
It is applied for:
-imitations of the work of the flamethrower throwing out liquid and viscous fuel burning the building and strengthening the enemy (scenery);
-creation of fire flares of varying power, volume and duration to simulate various disasters and explosions that occurred behind the scenes, as well as blanks for specialists in visual effects (quality texture and dynamics of fire life, direction of fire development). For these purposes, depending on the requirements of safety and constraint conditions (scenery, film-filming pavilions, other rooms, the presence of people in the frame) is used lycopodium, propane or other substances.
These effects are dangerous and require high skill pyrotechnics - the operator of the flamethrower and insurers. In the presence of actors and stuntmen, it requires the development of the scene and the presence of the stunt director on the set.
Pyrotechnic and fire effects are conducted when notified and in the presence of regional emergency services and emergency medical services.
