The STV film company was established in 1992.

The main activity is the production and promotion of new films, including animated films created jointly with the studio "Melnitsa". The head of the STV company is producer Sergey Selyanov, the owner of the "Producer of the Year" awards according to the GQ (2008) and "Kinobusiness Today" (2015).

In 2015, Sergei Selyanov became the winner of the Presidential Prize in Literature and Art for works for children and young people.
